WITHIN THE FIRST 24 HOURS after the procedure, cleanse the permanent makeup area with a water-based CHLORHEXIDINE solution 4–5 times during the day. This helps minimize scabbing and disinfect the area. After each cleanse, gently pat the area dry with a tissue.
BROWS
Starting from the second day, do not cleanse the permanent makeup area with anything. To relieve the feeling of tightness or dryness, apply a very thin layer of Vaseline once a day before bedtime. After applying the ointment, gently blot any excess with a dry cotton pad or paper tissue.
EYELIDS
Try not to drink too much liquid before bedtime during the first 24 hours after the procedure. In case of swelling or vascular reaction on the eyelids, Hydrocortisone ointment may be applied in a very thin layer. Do not wet or touch the eyes.
LIPS
Apply a THIN LAYER of Vaseline as needed. Do not allow the lips to become dry or cracked. If herpes appears, apply anti-herpes ointment in a THIN LAYER locally to the affected areas only.
DURING THE FIRST 7 DAYS
The crust that forms after the procedure should remain on the skin for as long as possible. Do not peel it off, steam it, or soak it under any circumstances, as part of the pigment may come off together with the crust. Avoid water contact whenever possible. If water gets on the permanent makeup area, gently pat it dry with a tissue. Do not use any cosmetic products on the permanent makeup area until the crust or film has naturally come off.
Do not apply makeup or cosmetics to the permanent makeup area. Do not visit saunas or swimming pools, and do not sunbathe.
For lip permanent makeup, it is recommended to drink through a straw, protect the lips from moisture as much as possible, avoid hot drinks, and avoid spicy, red-colored, or very salty foods.
Do not sleep with your face pressed into the pillow.
For one month, try to protect the permanent makeup area from UV exposure by wearing hats or caps with a visor. After one month, apply SPF 50 or higher to the permanent makeup area.
All cosmetic procedures, such as massage, lymphatic drainage, mesotherapy, and similar treatments, may be performed no earlier than one month after the procedure.
